The District Educational Officers & Additional Project Coordinators in the State are informed that CIET - NCERT. New Delhi has informed that the NEP 2020 emphasizes on the development of quality eContent in varied forms in all regional languages for a diverse group of learners including DIVYANG. Further, keeping in view of the diverse needs of learners, now use of eContent has become an essential component of the teaching, learning and assessment.

 

The Government of India has launched numerous e-Content initiatives, including DIKSHA, PMe Vidya, MOOCs, on SWAYAM, ePathshala, NISHTHA and more with a aim to enhance sills, promote awareness, and improve individuals' quality of life by empowering them with knowledge and opportunities.

 

The CIET, NCERT wants to create a pool of resources in all the Indian languages and disseminate among stakeholders in multiple languages on these portals, apps, verticals, DTH channels.

 

Hence, CIET – NCERT organizing a series of workshops/orientation programmes to train teachers/educators in States/UTs so as to enable them to create variety of quality eContents in States/UTs (eBooks, audios, videos, animations, AR, VR, Virtual Labs etc).and This year also CIET-NCERT proposed to orient state resource teams for 05 days through virtually using online-video conferencing tools. CIET-NCERT has requested state to identify and depute 20 faculty /teachers as State Resource Group members and one ICT co-ordinator.

 

The said orientation programmes are scheduled in 2 phases, in which Andhra Pradesh state falls in PHASE 2 - (23rd September, 2024 to 27th September, 2024) along Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Union Territories of Pondicherry, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

 

Therefore the District Educational officers concerned are requested to issue necessary instructions to the individuals (list attached) concerned to attend the training as per the above schedule and the attendance for the participants shall be treated as On Duty as the participants has to attend the programme virtually throughout the day.
