All the Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers in the state are informed that, it is decided to conduct State Science Fair 2024-25 at different levels i.e. School level, mandal level, district level and state level to all Government management high schools having8-10 classes in Andhra Pradesh.
Further informed that the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha in reference read above issued orders according administrative approval of Rs.78.00 lakhs for conducting Science Fair and Book Fair and quiz competition at School level, Mandal Level, District level and State level for the academic year 2024-25 with proposed scheduled dates. In the said sanction, it is allocated an amount of Rs.1.00 lakh (Rupees One Lakh Only) for each District to conduct said activities as per detailed schedules to be communicated from Director, SCERT, A.P.
The State Level selected projects should be exhibited in the Southern India Science Fair2024-25 which will be organized in PUDUCCHERRY in the 3rdweek of January 2025
As part of developing creativity, curiosity, innovation skills among children in Andhra Pradesh it is proposed to organize school level, Mandal level, District and state level science exhibitions on the following categories.
- Individual category (one student + one teacher, Fifteen 15 Exhibits)
- Group category (Two students + one teacher Ten 10 exhibits)
- Teacher category (only one teacher Ten 10 Exhibits)
The following subjects are included for this project competition and from any of the below subjects will come under above categories.
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Earth/space Science
- Environmental Science
- Engineering
- Bioscience/Biochemistry
- Computer Science
Further it is informed that the schedule for School level, Mandal level, District level and State Level Science Fair is proposed to conduct as follows.

The RJDSEs and DEOs are further informed that the selection criteria for mandal level, District level and state level is as follows:
- The Science Fair shall be organized at each High school level in the district and the top 1 project in each category from each school should be selected to mandal level.
- The mandal level science exhibition shall be organized at any High School which is suitable for conduct such events.
- The selection of such school and Nodal head master shall be identified by the concerned Dy.E.O.
- The Nodal Head master shall look after the arrangements and jury members for the event.
- Top 1 project in each category from each mandal promoted to district level.
- Top 2 projects in each category from each district promoted to state level exhibition.
The following top entries to be sent for Southern India Science Fair (SISF) 2024-25.
- Individual category---Top 15 projects (15 students + 15 teachers)
- Group category--- Top 10 projects (20 students +10 teachers)
- Teacher category----- Top 10 projects (10 teachers)
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors and all the District Educational Officers are requested to follow the above said instructions to conduct Science Exhibition at School level, Mandal level, District level duly give a wide publicity and ensure at School level, Mandal level, District level duly give a wide publicity and ensure all the science teachers and ATL schools in the state should participate in the event without any deviation. District level Science fair should be held on or before 31st January 2025 duly meeting the expenditure of Rs.1,00,000/- for conducting the said activities from the available funds of District Project Offices, Samagra Shiksha and submit the UCs to the SPD, Samagra Shiksha duly extending a copy of the same to this office.
